The weather forecast looks quite nice for the evening - scattered clouds and mild wind with aurora activity forecast around 2-3/9.

Tour status: RUNNING

Sightings:  Tonight the forecasted magnetic activity started at 4 but then suddenly moved down to 1 (on a scale of 0-9) which was not good but most important was that the forecast showed clear skies. So we went out but for the first two hours there was nothing bar lights that could barely be made out, let alone enjoyed. Then around and after 11 AM things started to pick up; modest light arches formed as well as reasonable patches here and then; not the greatest show we have seen but enough to save the tour and have most of the passengers leaving content with their evening with us.
