NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: in a beautiful night, we sailed out ready to spot the lights in the bay! Tonight it was forecasted to have a Kp index of 2, more than enough to see it in the city of Reykjavik. We had many clouds around us, but lots of gaps as well, as we could see loads of stars at the sky. On the way, we could spot a big flock of seabirds on the surface, and the fish finder on the boat told us we had many fish in the area. As we had whales in the afternoon in the same area, we stopped to see if we could spot one. Some passengers saw a humpback whale with the moonlight, but we continued our way to get more away from the city lights. Over the night, we continued lookig at the clouds, that haven't changed at all. We ended up giving out complimentary tickets since we didn't get to see anything. It was a beautiful and not-windy-at-all type of night, in which was still nice. Even though we didn't get to see the lights, some passengers spotted another humpback whale on the way back to the harbour.
