Tour at 17:00

Cancelled due to strong winds and rough conditions!

Tour at 13:00

Report from Elding: Wild nature is so unpredictable, we had a completely different trip than this morning. We sailed first towards a group of feeding Gannets where we could also spot a group of Harbour porpoises. We had to sail for a while and there didn't seem to be any whales around but all of a sudden we had a Minke whale breaching just 100m from the boat! It breached several times and was really exciting to watch. We were very lucky on this tour :)

Report from Hafsúla: We were not as lucky as Elding on this tour :-( We searched and searched and found nothing! Once we spotted a minke whale, but it only surfaced twice and not many passengers were able to spot it. We were far away from Elding when they were in the area with the breaching minke whale, and even though we arrived there soon after we missed the breaching :-( It is our goal to show our passengers whales, and since we didn't meet that goal on this tour we offered our passengers a complimentary ticket. They can come with us on another tour for free and we look forward to seeing them again!!!

We set off with some nice weather this morning and sailed out onto the bay. We found several Minke whales throughout the trip but they seemed to be diving for a long time. Lucky for us there were many whales around so although we couldn't perhaps spot the same whale often, we always had some around. We also spotted a group of Harbour porpoises on the trip. A nice trip with many Minke whales around.
