Report from Hafúlan: First we stopped by Puffin island to visit the puffins, and we saw so many of them but none at the island itself just sitting at the surface all around and flying all over. Than we headed out to Faxaflói bay, it was windy and foggy and it was starting to rain as well. We saw few gannets flying around but no whales to be seen unfortunately. We offered all our passengers complimentary tickets and really hope to see them again on our tour to see some whales.

Report from Elding: We started by sailing out to the whale watching area and spotted around 5 Minke Whales. Some of them came really close to the boat, just 3 meters!!! They came up very often and we got to have a good look at them. Gannets were also diving around us making white splashes on the surface. On the way to the harbour we took a stop at the Puffin Island Akurey was we saw couple of thousands of Puffins.

Report from Hafúlan: The search for the Whales was a bit challenging since there were many waves and white tops but we went to an area where there were feeding Gannets and among them some Minke Whales. There were many of them but we were spotting them quite randomly as they usually surfaced only once before each dive. On our way back we then stopped by Akurey to say hello to the Puffins. And WOW there were so many of them around the island.

We started by visiting the lovely puffins in Akurey. There were bunch of them in the Island, probably couple of thousands. Later on the tour we spotted around 4 - 6 Minke Whales. Some of them came very close to the boat and swam around us. Many seabirds were seen as well, for example diving gannets, puffins, skuas chasing kittiwakes and some ducks.
