Tour 17:00

Still pretty rough out there this afternoon and we had a bit of a bumpy ride. In spite of the waves, we were able to spot a few Minke whales in one area, often surfacing about 100m away but sometimes quite close to the boat! Again lots of Gannets around as well as all the other sea birds we can find out on the bay: shearwaters, kittiwakes, fulmars, gulls, guillemots and so on.

Tour 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: It was sunny, clear sky just the wind picked up a bit. We sailed out to the Puffin first and then straight to the whales. Still plenty of whales, Minkes feeding and also plenty of beautiful seabirds like Gannets and Puffins and gulls.

Report from Elding: We had lots of sun and lots of wind! Some quite big waves out on the bay but still plenty of Minke whales around. We stopped at Akurey (puffin island) and really saw a lot of puffins there. Plenty of Gannets diving around us as well which is always an added bonus on our trips :)

Tour 9:00

Report from Elding It was a very nice sunny day of clear sky. We sailed out first to Akurey and we had a few sightings of Puffins which we had mainly out in Faxaflói bay. Out there we had mainly Minke whales, quite many of them feeding close to flocks of feeding birds.
