Tour at 13:00
The wind picked up a bit and it started drizzling but still we had quite good visibility. We went immediately to the place where we had spotted the minke whales this morning and we found one there again. We stayed with it for a long long time and for a short time we again had two whales surfacing in the same area. We wanted to keep on searching for some other animals but one of the minke whales was so fun to watch that it made it difficult for us to leave. Later we "managed" to leave it and continued searching for a short while but didn't find any other whales, just the one again which we had had in the beginning of the tour.

We had an extra tour this morning. The weather was still quite good and we had good whale watching conditions. Right after we left the harbour we spotted the first minke whale. I was just on the way up to the microphone to welcome everybody on board, but didn't have any time for that. I think it was the first time in my career as a whale watching guide that I had to begin the tour by introducing a whale instead of the security information :-) We spent a long time with that one whale and sometimes it seemed that there were two minke whales around. Later we spent some time searching for some other animals but couldn't find any.
