Tour 17:00

It was a very nice tour out there. The see was rather rough but there were many whales out there. We started with few sightings of Minke whales, feeding always spotted in the vicinity of large flock of feeding birds. Gannets were many and actively feeding it was really spectacular. Then we had few more minkes and suddenly we spotted a couple of Humpback whales. We had them both already today but not together. They were so calmly tightly together, it was so nice o follow them and we got sometimes even less than 10 meters from them.

Report from Hafsúlan: Another very nice sunny day, with very good visibility and clear water. First stop to Lundey and then straight to the whales. First, we spotted a Humpback whale, not the same individual spotted this morning but a new whale, which we did follow for 20 minutes, then we left the animal and we headed far out where we had several Minke whales moving around.

Report from Elding: We started at Akurey, puffin island, and had a look at plenty of puffins! We didn't have to sail long until we saw a Humpback whale lob tailing for about 10 minutes and really swimming close to us! It seemed to be really curious about us, but eventually it swam away and we headed out a bit further. We found quite a few Minke whales and some of them even came close to the boat as well so we were really lucky with a fantastic tour!!

Tour 9:00

Very nice sunny day this morning. We sailed out to the Puffin Island first, where we stayed a few minutes enjoying Puffins and other birds, then we sailed out to the feeding ground where we had at least 5 different Minke whales and also a Humpback whale. They were both feeding and all time less than 100 meters far from each other which is rather exceptional!
