  • CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00, 13:00

Today's whale watching tours from Reykjavík are on schedule. Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We headed out with good weather, it was warm, no wind and calm seas. As we sailed along we eventually found a pod of 7 white-beaked dolphins. They were surfacing quite a lot and came very close to the boat, so we could see their beautiful faces as well. After a while we left them, so they could continue what they were doing without us being around. During our whole tour, we found 4 different pods of dolphins. It was a really nice tour. :)

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300

Report from Eldey: We set off this afternoon towards the south west of the Faxaflói bay. We sailed around for over an hour with no cetacean sightings, only seabirds. Then finally we found some luck! In very quick succession we saw 2 pods of white beaked dolphins! The first had 6 individuals and the second had 5. It was really nice to see these 2 pods. They were very active swimming around lots close to us. Even making a few splashes. After these 2 great sightings we headed back to the harbour to end a great dolphin day!
