  • CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: another successful tour! We set out with some wind but with overall good weather conditions for this time of the year. And things kicked off to a good start when we were joined by a group of harbour porpoises which followed us for some time as we sailed out. They were around 10 individuals. It was really nice and everybody got very excited. Then, as soon as we got on the other side of Videy, we had our first sighting of a great whale! It was a humpback whale. Eventually we saw 3 individuals, 2 together and 1 solitary. Having three animals with us, we stayed in the same area for the duration of the tour. They were feeding, and spending lots of time on the surface, giving us many fluke dives. The passengers could take many photos and everybody was very happy. It was a great tour.
