Tour at 13:00

This time we headed out directly to the bay and found a Minke Whale feeding - the first individual being very shy but towards the end of the tour we spotted one rather young individual surfacing a few times very close to the boat. The tour ended with a visit to Puffin Island.

Tour at 09:00

At the beginning of the tour we had a look to Lundey to watch the puffins for a while. Then we headed further out and already after a short while we spotted a Minke Whale, still very close to the shoreline, within a huge flock of feeding seabirds. Unfortunately it was a rather shy individual and showed up only a few times. We searched for more whales further outside in the bay. Harbour porpoises were spotted shortly but very difficult to observe in the rough sea. On the way back we foun a Minke Whale again in the same area as at the beginning of the tour.
