Tour 17:00

Cancelled due to bad weather and sea conditions

Tour 13:00

Report from Elding: We started the trip at Akurey (puffin island) where we could see quite a few birds. We then headed out onto the bay and were able to spot many big groups of feeding birds. Towards the beginning of the trip there were 3 or 4 Minke whales around which we could spot a few times, but then they disappeared. We spotted a couple of Minke whales throughout the rest of the trip but always just once or twice at a time. Report from Hafsúlan:  Another tour out in Faxaflói bay. We went first to Lundey, the Puffin island and then to the whales. We had one main sighting of a Minke whale that headed straight to a flock of feeding birds and then it went in feeding strike just underneath the birds. We saw bubbles, splashes and the birds suddenly taking off. Gannets were still very many, then Puffins, Gulls, Skuas, Arctic terns and even Manx shearwaters out there..

Tour 9:00

Overcast and a bit of wind. We sailed out to the whales first and then a bit further away from the coast and there we spotted Minke whales. There were quite many of them popping out from everywhere and there were feeding close to feeding flocks of birds. There were so many gannets feeding and puffins and gulls.
