Tour at 20:30

We sailed out from Grindavík in a beautiful weather but very windy. We were very hopeful to find some whales, but unfortunately no whales to see. Instead we had a beautiful sunset/landscape and birds around us. We gave all our passengers complimentary tickets and really hope to see them again.

Tour at 17:00

Cancelled due to strong wind in the Faxaflói bay.

This afternoon we still had a pretty bumpy sea. We headed out again to Lundey and saw lots of puffins. Out in the bay we came across 3 to 4 feeding Minke Whales in the same area and saw a really big flock of feeding birds which included some Gannets, Black-backed Gulls, Aortic Skua and some Guillemots. We spotted also the Harbour Porpoises again and at the end of our tour we found another Minke Whale who came quite close to the boat.

Today we had really strong wind here in Faxaflói bay but our passengers were warned. Those brave who came with us this morning had a lot of fun on our roller coaster trip. First we headed to Lundey and saw many puffins flying above the island. Next we headed out and after some time we spotted a Minke Whale. But the amazing high light this morning was a big pod of Harbour Porpoises. They swam around the boat over and over again and we could also see them clearly under the surface. After this great sighting we spotted a Minke Whale again but this time really close to the boat. Unique tour!
