Another successful tour this evening. We were able to find a Humpback whale again, and observed it very closely, almost always less than 30m from the boat, and often almost touching the boat! It even slapped its flukes on the surface once when it was just less than 10m away from us. Very interesting behaviour! We spotted a few Minke whales around for the duration of the trip, but never as close as the Humpback.

Report from Hafsúlan: Again a great trip with nice weather. We came back to the same sort of area where we were in the morning. We found a couple of Humpback whales, one of which we observed for a while very closely. We even saw the whale have a poo less than 2 metres away from the boat!! This made everyone laugh :) When we left the Humpback whale, we came to an area where the Minke whales were feeding quite actively at the surface, and often saw them coming up to the surface with their pink bellies facing up! A really interesting trip, and again, lots of happy passengers!
Report from Elding: We had an excellent trip! Like the boat Hafsúla we went out quite far to the area where we spotted whales this morning. The first two minke whales were already pretty good, surfacing a few times close to the boat. On the way to the humpback whales we spotted more minke whales. Then we spent some while with the huge humpback whale. It wasn't shy at all, rather curious in fact! It swam all the time around us, showed its fluke a few times and stayed close. After that we spotted a very actively feeding minke whale. It was lounge feeding quite a bit which was really nice for us to watch. Also on this tour passengers were especially satisfied when we finally came back to the harbour.

We came to an area where there were plenty of Minke whales feeding, and also lots of white-beaked dolphins. We spotted a Humpback whale around and were able to observe it for quite a while, a great tour with lots of whales and lots of happy passengers :)
