Tour 17:00

Another good day out there. Minke whales were so many we didn't know where to look. In fact, every time we stopped we had an average of 4 individuals. Ganntes were actively feeding as well, dropping down fast into the sea!

Still very good weather and plenty of whales. Mainly Minke whales out in Faxaflói bay. The whales were passing by close and one young minke was always very close and it started rolling on the side, jumping in belly up, grooves fully expanded, it was very spectacular!

Very nice sunny day today. it was almost clear sky but no wind. Sea was clam and flat. We sailed out to the feeding ground first and we had a very nice time out there with Minke whales. They were clearly feeding today, always spotted close to feeding flocks of birds. One of them went in feeding strike rolling on the right side showing the fluke out of the water.
