Tour at 17:00

The wind picked up a little bit again but still it was quite ok. The first two minke whales were immediately deep diving when we got closer to them so we went on to find others. And we got rewarded! We found than several other minke whales and these were really nice to watch.

Report from Elding: The weather got better in the afternoon and it didn't take us a long time to find minke whales. We stayed for a long time with the same whale which was feeding there. It showed a very nice "whale-watching-behaviour" and made it very easy for us to follow it. Later we spotted a few more minke whales and for a few minutes we had three minke whales around the boat and we didn't know which one we should actually watch :-) All the minke whales we spotted in the afternoon came several times very close to the boat, up to ten meters which is very close and fatastic, indeed!!!

Report from Hafsúla: This tour was as nice as on the other boat! Several minke whales and easy to follow! We got lots of good opportunities to watch them especially when they approached to boat :-)

Tour at 9:00

The whales made it a bit difficult for us this morning, but the weather also. We still managed to find three minke whales which were not so bad. They stayed most of the time somewhere around the boat so we could watch them several times when they came up to breathe. But then they disappeared and we spent a long time searching for more whales but couldn't find any. The puffins seem to be gone for this season!
