Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress according to weather, as it is usually colder at sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: After a snow blaze on the deck and an hour of shoveling out the white cold, we headed to see some cetaceans! It wasn't more than 15 minutes that we started to see blows near the islands in the vicinity of Reykjavík, we had spotted 3 humpback whales! It was an amazing start to our tour, so we then stuck around with a lonely one that was doing very short dives for our pleasure! Eventually, it also did a fluke dive suuuper close to us! After staying with this individual for a long time we proceeded to check on the other two that were pairing and probably feeding on something at the surface, since there were lots of birds and also some 8 seals! Some of them were curious to see us on the boat. These two individuals were doing erratic dives but always following the same direction. We could even see them right before they come up for air. After spending most of the time with this pair, we went to check out the first individual and the started our way back to the harbour just in time before another snow blaze showed up!
