Tour at 13:00
The whales were still in a teasing mood! Like this morning our passengers had to be very patience. The whales stayed again very far out in Faxaflói bay. But our there we spotted a group of white-beaked dolphins. And what a surprise! There were two mothers with their calves. They rather avoided the boat and after a short while we decided to stop to follow them so they could get some peace again. The minke whales behaved like in the morning: they always dived a long time and we had to wait! On our way back to the harbour we spotted again the dolphins with the calves.

The whales did tease us a bit today! But still we spotted three species on this tour! First we had some nice harbour porpoises and later a group of white-beaked dolphins. And finally far, far out in Faxaflói bay we spotted some minke whales. They were all diving a long, long time and we had to be very patience. Than the last one was surfacing very close to the boat to the excitement of our passengers!
