Tour at. 13:00

This tour we sailed out from Reykjavík. After sailing for a while we spotted a flock of feeding birds. Close to the birds we then spotted a Minke Whale. This Minke whale was not in a good whale watching mood today since it seemed to only surface once and then it went for a deeper dive and it was very difficult to follow but we saw it surface 3 times. On the way back a passenger pointed towards one o'clock and there we found a Harbour Porpoise. Again it swam quickly away from us but it was really close to the boat when we spotted it and those who were looking in the right direction were able to see it very well. Among birds we spotted today: Fulmars, Gulls, Kittiwakes, Gannets, Razorbill, Guillemots, Puffins and Great Skua.

We sailed out from Hafnarfjörður harbour today. Soon after we left the harbour we spotted some White-beaked Dolphins. They were really nice to observe and many of them swam under the boat others leaped and breached out of the water, we were also able to see them while they swam under the surface. Then we headed towards Keflavik where the blow was spotted yesterday. When we got to the area we saw many birds, few of us were able to spot a blow twice but we didn't see the whale. We then docked in Reykjavík Harbour.
