Tour at 17:00
The sea was calm and flat, very suggestive light condiitions and still a lot of whales around. We had some minke whales at the beginning, some pretty close suddenly turning towrads us and further away even a group of more than 10! And on our way back a humpback whale has been spotted from the captain cabin: we approached the animal and this whale stayed with us for the rst of the tour. Always less than 10 meters, slowly surfacing, sometimes floawting at the surface, and showing the big fluke going down for a dive!
Tour at 13:00
A fantastic tour this early afternoon: lots of minke whales, for every stop there were probably 10, surfacing everywhere.Flocks of feeding birds alsways around and especially a lot of feeding gannets dropping down into the sea! But the most spectaular was a young humpback whale, that we have been spotted since the beginning of the season which was vertical lunge feeding and ven spyhopping twice!
Tour at 9:00
The sea had some white caps which started forming after a while but the sea conditions were still very good as well as the visibility. We had a nice tour out in Faxafloi with al least 5 minke whales surfacing never that far from us, and at the end of the otur we even had a couple of minke whales which was really relaxed and stayed with us for 15 min always surfacing at 3 o´clock less than 60m.
