Tour at 13:00

The tour today was really good, the wind and the sea was calm, the sky was blue and the sun was shining! Really good whale watching conditions :-) We saw three species today, white beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and minke whales. There were really many dolphins out on the bay, we saw several groups of them. Some were playful, jumping again and again, others were more relaxed and some were busy feeding. We found an area with several minke whales, and could observe them for some time. Then they dived deeper and stayed under the surface for a longer period, so we headed further out to an area where we saw a flock of feeding birds. On the way over there we spotted some minke whales surfacing in the area, but when we arrived they were gone. Then we headed towards the same area as before and were lucky again, many minke whales surfaced and we got some good sightings. On the way back to the harbour we spotted another group of dolphins and a large group of harbour porpoises as well. Really nice :-D
