CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Hafsula: This afternoon we sailed out into an earie Faxafloi, towards Esja the light was nearly orange it felt quite atmospheric. Only 15m after leaving we already spotted a blow, we found Pongo - the humpback whale again! This time Pongo was a little erratic and often changing direction. We stayed together a bit and Pongo came extremely close, surprising us all! Eventually moved on and only a few minutes later spotted another humpback! It looked like these two were taking turns coming up. Sometimes close and sometimes far. When the other boats came closer we didnt want to overcrowd the animals and so continued on oast Videy. Here we spotted two more humpback whales, making it a total of 4! One was sleeping and one was feeding around us. It was quite a magical encounter, having a sleeping whale only a few meters from the boat. We watched on for a bit but then ran out of time and headed back to harbour!
