The wind had picked up a lot when we headed out for this tour but we didn't feel it much on our way out there. First we spotted a pod of White-beaked Dolphins. We stayed with them for a while and when we were just about to head on a Minke Whale surfaced very close to us. We spotted blows further away and headed that way but this Minke Whale seamed to be avoiding the boat so we turned the boat around and headed on. Soon we spotted massive splashes far far away from us. This was definitely a breaching whale but it was still to far to see what it was. We headed on full speed and the whale kept breaching again and again. At one point we thought there might even be two of them breaching there but it was difficult to tell since we were still quite far away. The whale kept on breaching and we finally started to see the whale and this was a BREACHING MINKE WHALE It was so amazing it breached at least 30-40 times after we got there. I lost count early on do to the excitement but this was absolutely brilliant.

The weather today was pretty good, bit of wind but not to bad. We headed out and after sailing for a while we spotted feeding Gannets ahead of us. In that area we spotted several different Minke Whales. We spotted many blows around us and some of them didn't surface more then once before going for a deep dive again. Two of the Minke Whales surfaced very close to us several times before we had to start heading back to the harbour.
