Tour at 17:00

Tour cancelled due to worsening weather conditions!

Tour at 13:00

Report from Elding: Again the sea was pretty rough but we decided to take some brave passengers out to look for the whales. We headed to the same area as we were in this morning and again found several Minke whales! On the way back we even spotted a tiny Minke whale calf which was really cute :)

Report from Hafsúlan: A bit more windy in the afternoon but whales were out there. Mainly Minke whales, some individuals rather big, probably adults, following feeding seabirds in search of food. Gannets, gulls and puffins majority of birds out there.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Elding: We had some wind this morning but we headed out to search for the whales. We found quite a few Minke whales in one area where there were lots of feeding birds. We got a really close look at a couple of Minke whales so in spite of the weather we had a successful trip!Report from Hafsúlan: Quite windy and rather rough sea conditions. We sailed out and we were really lucky to spot a very good area with several Minke whales which were clearly feeding close to a very large and dispersed flock of feeding birds. Gannets were in large numbers there.
