Tour at 13:00

The wind dropped down a lot during the morning and we had fine weather this afternoon. Soon we spotted already several blows in the distance and found the minke whales to whom they belonged. This time of the year, when it is getting colder we can see the blow of a whale very well! We spent some time in the area with the whales and spotted all the time up to three animals at once. They surfaced around the boat, some closer some further away. But we had a lot of good opportunities to watch them well. There were as well a lot of harbour porpoises to see during the tour. We went a bit further out to find some other species, but couldn't find anything else but a really nice minke whale. This one surfaced several times just beside the boat and everybody was surprised how huge this individual was!
