Tour at 17:00
It cleared up a bit and we had an almost dry tour! On this tour we saw four to six minke whales (we couldn't quite tell exactly) and a beautiful group of white-beaked dolphins with at least seven animals.
Tour at 13:00
It was still wet and gray when we headed out on Faxafloi, but when we were searching for the whales it cleared up a bit and a beautiful rainbow appeared. We spotted a couple of minke whales, some were a bit elusive and deep dived pretty quickly after we spotted them, but some were nice and we were able to get some good sightings also :-)
Tour at 9:00
It was a wet morning out on the bay. We saw splashes on the surface and soon approached a nice group of white beaked dolphins. They were jumping high in the air, showing us their fins and they even came really close to the boat at one point, bow-riding and giving us a really good sighting. We also spotted a couple of minke whales and despite the wet weather it was a very nice morning out on Faxaflói :-)
