Tour at 13:00
We sailed out from Reykjavík harbour this afternoon but the weather was getting worse. We decided to try to head towards calmer sea towards Keflavík but this was quite far away. We sailed for a really long time before we reached the sea around Keflavík and were quite lucky around there. We spotted 3-4 Minke whales, a small group of Harbour Porpoises and a nice group of white-beaked dolphins. All 3 species were really close to the boat at some point so I think everyone got a good look at the animals. We dropped everybody off at Keflavík harbour and came back to Reykjavík on the bus, because we were already pretty late!
Tour at 9:00
The weather was quite ok this morning but the whales hided far our in Faxaflói bay. We decided to go directly to the area where we spotted whales yesterday and lucky we did because there was a lot of live; at least six minke Whales and many dolphins. They were feeding there side by side and we where always watching otherwise dolphins or minke whales. Although we had to spend much time only sailing we had a nice tour with good sightings.
