CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 9:00
Report from Eldey - today, we set out early for our whale-watching adventure under flat seas and cloudy skies. The calm water and overcast sky created a serene atmosphere as we cruised along. Soon, we spotted a blow in the distance—a telltale sign of a humpback whale. As we got closer, we were thrilled to see not one but two humpbacks feeding together. We watched in awe as they surfaced and dived in perfect harmony before deciding to explore further. Not long after, we encountered another humpback, accompanied by a playful pod of white-beaked dolphins. The whale was particularly active, rolling around and putting on quite a show. In the distance, we noticed more blows, but it was time to start heading back. On our return, we made one last quick stop to revisit the pair of whales we had seen earlier, ending our trip on a high note.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 11:00
Report from Hafsulan: Sailing out this late morning, we knew of some interesting sightings ahead of us, which we quickly encountered on our way out. Throughout the tour, we managed to see up to 10 humpback whales, each one better than the other. Our first sightings had us amazed by several fluke dives from 3 different individuals, feeding frenetically around us. We then had the chance to have 3 of them roam around us, lunge feeding and tail slapping happily, not a care in the world about our presence. These joyful sightings got everyone a great vie of the whole body and feeding habits of the whales, with more blows in the background further in the distance. Heading back from this wonderful experience, everyone seemed very moved by this unique and pleasing experience.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey - In the afternoon, we returned to the spot we had visited earlier and found the humpback whales still there, with three close by and more visible in the distance. We followed one whale, getting good looks at it, and were thrilled when it started bubble net feeding—a rare behaviour to witness in these waters. As we watched, another whale came close, giving us the incredible experience of observing two humpbacks up close simultaneously. Afterwards, we explored a bit more and spotted a pod of white-beaked dolphins, but they quickly disappeared. With that, we headed back home, content with the remarkable sights we had seen.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 15:00
Report from Hafsulan: We sailed out to the bay with high hopes for this later afternoon tour, but nothing could prepare us for what we would encounter, as we started to get close to the area where we spotted whales during the previous tours we started to see blows in the distance. We suddenly found ourselves surrounded by an impressive group of ten humpback whales! It was a breathtaking sight, with these majestic creatures all around us. We decided to focus on a particularly active pair, and soon enough, they treated us to an incredible display of bubble net feeding! For quite some time, we watched in awe as the humpbacks worked together, creating bubbles to corral their prey and then surfacing with their mouths wide open to feed. The spectacle was even more amazing as it happened so close to our boat, offering us a rare and intimate view of this fascinating behavior. Then 2 more whales joined them, swimming between the boats present in the area! As we thought it could get any better we saw a whale breach out of the water as we were just about to sail out! It was a day filled with excitement and wonder, one that we'll all remember for a long time. Seeing ten humpback whales and witnessing their cooperative feeding up close was truly unforgettable!

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 2030
Report from Elding: Sailing under the enchanting glow of the midnight sun, we spotted about eight blows in the distance—a large group of humpback whales! As we drew closer, the excitement built, and we decided to focus on two active whales. These whales were feeding! And we witnessed the two whales performing bubble net feeding together. They skillfully created bubbles to encircle the fish, then rose to the surface with their mouths wide open to capture their meal. The proximity of this remarkable display provided us with an exceptional view of this fascinating and rare behavior. Just when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, one whale breached in the distance! And we started moving in that direction! then once more leaping out of the water in a magnificent display of power and grace. It was a breathtaking sight that left us all in awe.
With hearts full of wonder and joy, we returned to the harbor, the midnight sun casting its golden light over the water and for our last goodbye we still got to see one last graceful jump! It was an unforgettable journey, filled with the beauty and majesty of the humpback whales.
