Tour at 13:00
A very cold but beautiful afternoon out on the bay today. We headed back towards the area where we have been in the past few days and found one Minke whale in the same area as a small group of shy harbour porpoises. We stayed with the Minke whale for over 20 minutes and this whale was taking really long dives and just surfacing once or twice at a time. It was a little bit tricky to spot sometimes! We headed out further, hoping to find some dolphins which have been around in large numbers over the past few days. We didn't find any dolphins today though, but were able to spot one more group of harbour porpoises.
