Report from Eldey: The tour started with cold weather but the sea was very calm, so it was nice, smooth sailing. We explored the little islands around the harbor, but this time no whales in sight. So we headed out into Faxafloi Bay and there you go, boom, a blow ! So we went there to check it out. It was a great Humpback Whale, at first it teased us a little by diving and seemingly not coming up again, but then eventually it came up a few times, before showing us its fluke. Very beautiful ! It repeated this behavior for a couple of times, before we decided to leave it to itself and moved on to find another whale. We had to sail for a while, but then we found a second Humpback Whale, which was also surfacing a few times and then showed us its fluke. We were able to watch it a second time, but then we had to head back to harbor. It was a great tour with 2 great Humpbacks !
