Tour at 20:30

Due to strong winds on the bay we have cancelled the first Midnight Whale Whale watching tour of the season. The forecast looks much better for tomorrow so we hope that the first actual Midnight Whale Watching tour of the season will be super nice tomorrow night! Tour at 17:00 Not a very good tour unless you like a roller-coaster ride. No whales, no dolphins, no porpoises not even many birds. Except for Puffin Island where there were loads of . . . guess what . . . PUFFINS!!. Complimentary tickets given.

Tour at 13:00

We left the harbour one in still sunny weather. But again it took us some time to find some citations in the bay. After some time we found the Harbour Porpoises again but this time they had at least two calves with them. This was pretty exciting to see the cute little Harbour Porpoise calves so close to the boat and diving under the surface. But still no Minke Whale for our patient passengers.

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafúlan: We went out this morning in a sunny weather, first to the puffin island Akurey. We spotted a lot of puffins this morning, which were flying towards the island and also sitting on it. Finally the puffins are back! On this tour we had to search a long time before we spotted some Harbor Porpoises. We spotted them quite often this tour but we couldn't find a Minke Whale this time.
