Report from Eldey -We set sail under a thick blanket of fog, but our spirits were high, anticipating the sun’s eventual arrival to brighten our sea adventure. With excitement in the air, we eagerly journeyed out in hopes of spotting cetaceans. After about 40 minutes, we caught sight of a swift and elusive Minke whale, gliding through the water. Shortly after, another appeared, seemingly younger, approaching us with curiosity but clearly on its own mission.

Ten minutes further into our journey, we were fortunate to encounter a majestic humpback whale. Though it, too, was elusive, we were able to admire its stunning beauty and powerful blow. Moments later, two white-beaked dolphins appeared directly in front of us, playfully swimming as if searching for their next meal. Cameras clicked as everyone tried to capture these incredible moments.

As our time on the water came to an end, the sun shone brightly, accompanied by a breathtaking rainbow over the landscape, making for a perfect conclusion to our voyage. We returned to shore with smiles, grateful for a wonderful start to the day and the unforgettable sights we had witnessed.
