Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress according to weather, as it is usually colder at sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300

Report from Eldey: We probably got every type of wintery weather during this tour; there was rain, hail and snow. But maybe there has to be some sacrifice for amazing tours. In total we got to see 4 amazing humpback whales feeding, 3 grey seals and many seabirds. Moments after setting off we could already see many blows from close to Videy. As we arrived we realised there was a pair of humpbacks along with two other solo feeders. We spent most of our time to begin with near the pair. They regularly came up lunge feeding. We saw so many fluke dives from the humpbacks. Having looked at the pictures after it seems as though we saw Calamity as we have done for weeks now along with the new one from a few days ago with pigmented skin. Then 2 others that were new, they were the pair. All of the whales at some stage came up really close to our boat so many times meaning passengers could get amazing footage. There was also lots of Northern gannets plunge diving. Overall, it was a sensational tour full of great marine wildlife.
