CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: Today was incredible! We set sail from Reykjavik’s harbor, and after about an hour, we spotted a humpback whale just outside the islands. It was smaller than usual, so we guessed it might be a juvenile. At first, it was pretty chill—no big splashes or breaches—but then, out of nowhere, it fluked! Everyone on board went wild. Seeing that fluke rise out of the water felt like the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable day!

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We set out into the rain and swell this afternoon, but that just made it more of an adventure! Horizontal rain is a must-do Icelandic experience! We sailed back to the same area where we had success in the morning and the previous days. However, when we arrived, there were no signs of any cetaceans. After a little searching, we found a small flock of birds and hoped our luck had changed - but not yet! We moved to a slightly different location and finally found he humpback whale we had been searching for! It was the same small juvenile doing pretty much the same behaviour as before as well. No fluke dives but plenty of time at the surface, and even came close to our boat to check us out at one point. After this lovely encounter, we had to turn and head back in to the harbour.
