Tour at 13:00

Today we sailed out from Grindavík due to strong wind in Faxaflói bay. The weather was great, a bit windy and cold but the sun was shining and it wasn't too rough. We started out by sailing fairly close to land and sailed towards Krísuvíkurbjarg, a lot birds were there today. Many Guillemots and Razorbills were there around the cliffs and you could see the splashes in the water as they tried to fly away. On the way we also spotted few Gannets, some Kittiwakes and Fulmars. After observing the birds at Krísuvíkurbjarg we headed further out. Soon a crew member spotted an obvious blow from a big whale about 600 meters away from us but when we got to the area we didn't see anything. We stayed in the area for a while hoping that it would surface again but it didn't show so we moved on. Another blow was then spotted, this time about 300 meters away but the same thing happened, it didn't show.
