Tour at 17:00

The wind picked up a bit this late afternoon tour, but the whales were still quite amazing. We had a few Minke whales and a lot of feeding group of seabirds mainly gulls, Kittiwakes and Puffins, too. One Minke whale in particular stayed in the area and was feeding moving from one flock of birds to another one for a very long time.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Elding: A perfect way to start the day. Nice flat sea and lots of sunshine! We sailed around a great area for quite a while where we were able to spot several Minke whales and also a couple of white-beaked dolphins. We even spotted a mother and calf together in one area. A really nice tour :)Report from Hafsúlan:  a very nice day today. Flat and clam sea and many whales, mainly Minkes at least 6 different individuals, clearly feeding and there were a lot of feeding birds, too. A couple of white-beaked dolphin showed up briefly out there, too.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Elding: Again the weather was lovely and we headed to the same area as we were this morning. Towards the end of the trip things became more lively and there were many groups of feeding birds all around us, as well as several Minke whales and also a small group of white-beaked dolphins!

Report from Hafsúlan Another very good tour, with very interesting sightings. Minke whales were still out in the by, feeding and displaying special behaviour, like rolling on the side showing the fluke or passing very close to our boat.
