Tour at 17:00

Another very pleasant tour out ata sea. The wind was almost absent, the sea was calm and flat like oil. We spotted several minke whales, some pretty close, then we had a group of dolphins slowly travelling and a young humpback whale, which stayed with us for a while, showing the massive fluke every time before going down for a deep dive

Tour at 13:00

It was raining a bit at the beginning of the tour but then the sky cleared up, so the light conditions were really nice. Still a lot of minke whales around the bay, mainly showing up close to flock of feeding birds. We saw as well a group of 3 white-beaked dolphins and a humpback whale. The humpback was around the bay also this morning, and we got to know this individual in May. It has a very distinctive white whitish patch, which looks loke a flower on the left side of the body!

Tour at 9:00

A very nice weather today: sea calm and flat, a lot of birds gathering in flocks, mainly kittiwakes, lesser black backed gulls and puffins but as well some gannets, artic skuas and guillemots. Whales were great out at sea: we had more than 10 minke whales, one was lunge feeding in front of us! We had three groups of white-beaked dolphins, jumping and fast travelling along the side of the boat and even a humpback whale, twice lunge feeding moth open sorrouded by birds and one approaching us just less than 5 metres!
