Earlier today our friends at Köfunarþjónusta Sigurðar ehf. successfully pushed the Northern Bottlenose whale, previously seen inside the Old Harbour, off the rocks of Sæbrautin in Reykjavík. It is believed that the whale has some external as well as internal injuries, possibly due to plastic indigestion. The whale seemed to have found its way back to the bay after the rescue, but we lost track of it when it was heading in the direction of Harpa Concert Hall..
