The weather today was a bit challenging, but we were able to sail out on two departures. In the morning, we saw a humpback whale taking longer dives. In the afternoon, despite dynamic weather and spotting a shy minke whale briefly, no other cetaceans were seen. Both tours did offer complimentary tickets to all passengers due to the short lived sightings!

We even encountered 3 harbour porpoises and 2 humpback whales in the evening! A fantastic day in the bay with the magnificent wildlife of Reykjavík!

Today, most of our tours were cancelled due to weather. We were able to sail at 17:00 and encountered a minke whale surfacing closely before disappearing, followed by another brief sighting. A playful pod of 5-6 white-beaked dolphins entertained us with jumps but due to the challenging sightings, complimentary tickets were offered to all passengers.
