Report from Eldey: The wind was still howling but the skies were clear and stars twinking bright. We had to get out there and give it a try. The captain did a great job of using the land for shelter and so the boat stayed steady for the majority of the tour but it was just the start and the end of the tour when it rocked side to side, a brief moment before being able to turn and have a more comfortable ride. It was extremely cold this evening but most keep snug in the warm overalls provided on board and the hot drinks that can be purchased at the bar. Unfortunately the northern lights did not want to show even though we waited just a little longer in hope but alas we were not suceessful. We offered our disappointed passengers complimentary tickets to come again for free in the next two years, Wishing them a more successful trip next time. It was still nice to see shooting stars, star constellations, the stunning Capitol city lit up and the Imagine Peace Tower so all in all not a total waste of a tour.
