Report from Eldey: The forecast sure did not make up it's mind today. This morning there were meant to be very strong winds tonight but little cloud cover. Instead, we had a bit of the opposite. What had decreased in winds had increased in clouds. But as we know the forecast is not always right, especially when it is this indecisive, we of course still took our chance in the northern lights hunt. Luckily we did because mother nature rewarded us with northern lights within the first 5 minutes of sailing out! They faded away soon but only to come back about half an hour later and staying for another good half an hour if not more. Horizontal as well as vertical green lines above Mt Esja causing a lot of uuuh's and aaahh's and happy smiles. Once again we proved it is always worth trying, even if the forecast does not make you believe so, because nature is unpredictable.
