Report from Eldey: The ocean was amazingly smooth and the forecast filled us with optimism for a good light show. After sailing out to a sheltered spot the northern lights began immediately. A green band of aurora, partially hidden by the cloud lit up the show. This aurora grew in size and intensity, flickering shades of pink and purple whilst dancing across the sky. The show lasted for some time enabling everyone on board to snap some photos. The clouds cleared as the tour neared the end with many stars visible in the nights sky.
