Report from Eldey: Quite a peculiar tour this cold night. Even though the forecast was saying that almost no clouds will be showing out in the islands, we had partly clouded skyes. We saw our first northern lights quite soon. They slightly started to move and dance over the sky, but they were quite faint and the clouds were not helping at all. Then, for almost all the tour we barely manage to see "something", not extremely well defined. We gave up and started our way back to the harbour when suddenly the lights started again! They were all over the sky for a few moments, and despite the cloud cover, we got to see the lights with a particular turquoise color, really beautiful. If only we would have had completely clear skyes!
