The northern lights activity forecast for tonight looks all right. The aurora activity is supposed to be good or around 3/9. There will be some cloud coverage tonight, but not too thick.

Sightings: When we sailed out the cloud coverage was quite thick so we could only see few stars. We went to Viðey, a island close to Reykjavík to pick up few more passengers. After that we started to see greenish lights through the clouds, the fact that we could see it through the clouds gave us a clue for how strong the northern lights actually were. When they clouds opened up we got a breathtaking view of the lights! This was definitely one of the best tours this winter!
