Report from Eldey: It started out as a windy night but we soon reached the shelter of Mt. Esja to enjoy a calm and quiet night. While we did catch some northern lights through the clouds with our cameras, they never became fully visible to the naked eye. Thus, as we realized the clouds were pulling together, we of course gave everyone on board a complimentary ticket to return for another chance to see the lights in the sky above Iceland.
