Report from Eldey: It was overcast and quite windy to start of the tour, the forecast looked like the clouds would break later in the evening and that was true. Big gaps came and went as teh winds were blowing the clouds fast to the east. Star constellions, Ursa Major and Cassiopia were seen for less than a minute before disappearing behind the clouds once more. The moon also peeped from behind the clouds too on occasion, a day after a full moon so it was full and bright. The unfortunate part of the tour was the westerly winds creating large swells and thus a few green faces but most enjoyed the ride and the beautiful lit up Reykjavik City. The northern lights did not decide to show up this evening, which also disappointed a few so we gave passengers complimentary tickets in the hope they can give it another shot in the near future.
