Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out to look for Northern Lights at 10 pm tonight. The forecast predicts a 4 out of 9 Aurora activity and barely clouded skies. Please contact us for further information at elding@elding.is or +354 519 5000.

Sightings: What a tour! When we were sailing out tonight the sky was barely covered with clouds and looked very promising for a Northern Lights Cruise. However, more and more clouds were coming in until we could only see a few stars here and there. The wind also picked up making it a bit more uncomfortable to stay outside. We remained patient until finally a green line of Northern Lights showed up infront of us as the sky was clearing up. But this was just the beginning: This line soon grew stronger and bigger and for the rest of the tour we had fantastic Northern Lights everywhere above us and even moving around a lot. If the lights faded on one side of the  boat, they soon appeared even better on the other side making it very entertaining to watch and giving plenty of opportunities for great pictures.I think it´s safe to say that we all had an amazing time on this Cruise (pictures will be uploaded shortly).
