✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 22:00

Report fromm Eldey: Chances were slim this evening but as the forecast showed some pockets in the cloudes opening up in the late evening we had to try. We sailed out in the snowy overcast conditions and enjoyed watching the beautiful lit up Captital City fade into the snowy background. About 1hour 30mins into the tour the clouds started to seperate and the odd star could be seen unfortunatly at this time there was no aurora activity. Just as we were heading home a big gap in the clouds started to show and amazingly northern lights (aurora) we active. It was hard to make out the green but an arch was clearly visible for about 5 mins before more clouds rolled in. Passengers were even able to to get pictures on their phone.  Incredible! As the sighting was short but sweet we still offered our passengers complimentary tickets. Another example of Icelands unpredictability.
