Report from Eldey: It was a beautiful night, stars shining and some clouds here and there as we sailed out from the Old Harbour. The night was off to a good start since we already started seeing green hues through our cameras over Mt Esja, early on into the tour. We were eagerly waiting for the lights to get brighter and to start off properly. The lights were there, definitely, only very faded out. They got a little bit brighter for a couple of minutes for a few times but it was difficult to observe with bare eyes. Eventually it got cloudier and was even more difficult to see anything. We started the tour very hopeful but unfortunately the lights were not visible enough to get a proper northern lights experience tonight. Therefore we offered everyone a complimentary ticket to come again on another tour for free within the next two years.
