Sightings: It was well below 0 this evening, the harbour waters started to freeze and so we were very glad to have the northern lights be seen right at the beginning of the tour. Everyone got a few pictures and then went inside to get a nice warm drink at the bar and relax, now and again peeking outside again to see if they had changed. They were beautfiul and bright, a massive green arch over Mt. Esja and Akrafjall. The stars were also very beautiful, numerous and bright. The perfect night to be out.
