Report from Eldey: Great things come to those that wait! We have been longing for some proper northern light performance for days and were finally rewarded with a spectacular show! It was a true Icelandic experience, with strong northerly winds, choppy seas, clear night sky and stunning northern lights! They began as a faint arc but gradually spread across the sky, performed a quick dance, mostly green lights and a drop of red and purple colors.
